What you will do on the course

Learners will gain a wider understanding and appreciation of health related fitness, sports and exercise through a selection of optional specialist units and will enable learners to develop their people, communication, planning and

team working skills.

​

Here are some of the things you will be doing:

  • Fitness for Sport and Exercise

  • Practical Sports Performance

  • Training for Personal Fitness

  • Leading Sports Activities

​

How you will be assessed

Students will be internally assessed on this course through building up a portfolio of learning and practical tasks. There will be two written examinations set externally.

​

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is suited for anyone who has an interest or would consider a career in Sports.
